Restaurant: La Cocina del Sol

Christian Schirmer is the owner/chef of La Cocina del Sol. He has been a professional Chef for the past 18 years and graduated from the Baltimore culinary academy. He has a full staff trained by him, following strict rules for cleanliness and consistency. Christian does all of the shopping himself to insure freshness and quality.

Christian’s priority is cooking with the freshest ingredients that are in season. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner a la carte, and is willing to do special meals. They also serve a healthy smattering vegetarian fare. There is also a full time pasty chef for birthdays and any other occation that needs one of his fabulous cakes! La Cocina del Sol has a wood burning oven. Everyday they make bread for all the sandwiches, dinner and lots of Pizza. Also for Thanksgiving and Christmas we make the juciest turkies ever.

La Cocina del Sol is open to the public. The hours are:
8-10:30 breakfast
12-4 lunch
6:30 to 9:30 dinner

The restarant closes at 10 every evening but Sunday when they close at 5:00 after BBQ
